Kinze Goecke joined the Iowa Women in Agriculture board in 2019. Kinze grew up on her family’s 5th generation farm near State Center, IA. She was active in 4-H and showing livestock as a kid. Her best memories were following her grandpa around taking care of piglets and sows on their farrow-to-finish operation. Today, the farm is primarily grain and cattle.
Kinze earned her actuarial science degree from Drake University in 2016. She loves data and numbers and pairs it with her passion for agriculture. She has worked in acturial and underwriting departments for farm insurance carriers. Currently, she works on strategic plaming and industry intelligence as a Market Intelligence Analyst for Grinnell Mutual. She graduated in 2018 with her MBA from Drake University. Outside of work, she enjoys taking care of her livestock, dog, and garden.
