Jenny (Jen) grew up on her family’s multigenerational farm in northeast Iowa, working alongside her grandparents, parents, and brother. Together they raised cattle, farrow to finish hogs, feedlot cattle, corn, and soybeans. These early experiences cultivated a strong appreciation for agriculture and conservation and played a defining role in shaping her character, values, and ethics. The foundation built on the farm continues to guide her personally and professionally.
Jen’s professional background reflects the diversity of her agricultural experience. She has worked in ag production, ag manufacturing, grain accounting, grain team leadership, scale operations, and agronomy accounting. Today, she serves as a Senior Accountant at Cambrex, further strengthening her accounting and finance expertise.
Now residing in north central Iowa, Jen is actively searching for an acreage that will allow her to reconnect with her rural roots. She earned a BLS and Entrepreneurial Management Certificate from the University of Iowa in 2018, an Ag Finance Certificate from NICC in 2021, and bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Finance from Grand View University in 2023. As part of her ongoing commitment to personal and professional growth, she is currently pursuing her master’s degree at the University of Iowa.
Outside of work and school, Jen enjoys hunting, fishing, attending networking events, farm house sitting for friends and family, and spending time with loved ones.
